The latest stimulus act, passed on December 27, has opened up the Paycheck Protection Program once again.
As independent contractors in the gig economy, we are legally considered businesses. Many Gig economy contractors were impacted negatively by the pandemic and as such, may be eligible for funding through the Paycheck Protection Program.

If you are a gig economy contractor such as with Doordash, Uber Eats, Lyft, Instacart, Grubhub and others and were in business prior to the pandemic (February 15, 2020 is the official date) you may be eligible.
